REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

I am researching our family history, and have hit a roadblock at SAMUEL
CAMPBELL CLEGG b cir 1740 (possibly in VA), d 1779 (hanged at Star Fort,
in Ninety Six, SC.)

We have not been able to prove who his parents are.  we have some
hunches, but nothing provable.   Do you have any info?
